Today I received a review copy of the '14 video paintings' DVD, as intended
for the European market.

It is beautifully packaged, so I really like this re-release (even though
I'm also a proud owner of the two VHS videos as originally released...Anyone
interested can send me an offer for these :-)

Once again a major mistake in the compiling of this rerelease,
however...someone in the re-release dept. probably couldn't stay awake long
enough:

the *horizontal* version of the 'mistaken memories...' video has the
soundtrack of the 'thursday afternoon (on my copy, which is the package as
intended to be released). Even though it does not make a great difference to
the impact of the video, it clearly is not how it was intended...

The *vertical* version has the correct soundtrack, by the way.

I wonder if this is the case on the USA version too? Have seen no mention to
it until now..

I just checked my version and it doesn't have this problem - the soundtracks
are correct. I had bought it directly from Rykodisc USA.

The only problem that I had was that they put this stupid Region 1 encoding
on the DVD. I'm in Germany (region 2). I had to install a region-free
software to be able to see it. Well ok.

I've just sold both of these VHS videos on eBay in Germany. I had expected
to get some money for them but nobody was interested - they both went for 1
Euro. <sigh> :-)
