Why are all the music groups dead? alt.noise, rec.music.experimental, the
various Yahoo mailing lists, nothing but gig announcements, etc.

There's loads of great music around at the moment, but no discussion.
What's going on?

Due to a lack of trained trumpeters, the end of

Bueller?

Seriously, it's a combination of spammery, spoofing, posters tired of
flames, the rise of blogs, and general weltschmerz.

Maybe it's down to my spam filter, and USENET filtering, but I see bugger
all spam, flames, etc.

I'd like to recommend Hostile by Pau Torres.

His use of space reminds me of Stockhausen's Klavierstuck.

Aye, filters enough on this box too, but the end result still looks like
the second sitting of lunch in the Mary Celeste's mess.

I'd like to have heard _something_, but my experience of it was "MySpace
stuck". Worse yet, it didn't budge.

Not necessarily recommended, but at least mine to give away:

For that matter I quite like 'the Lamb Lies Down On Broadway', apart from
all the music.
