"Some Of Them Are Old" question

Got "Here Come The Warm Jets" recently & love it to bits.
I have a question concerning "Some Of Them Are Old": in
the liner notes, it says that a saxophone septet played
on the track, but I can't work out where. Might it be
what I always assumed was a fuzz guitar, coming in at the
end of the instrumental middle section?

If you mean the part where the "some of them are old, some of them are
new" melody is played slowly after the slide guitar part, I think
you're right.
