Hi all Eno fans! I came across this contemporary review of Eno's
http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/record-reviews/e/eno_brian/neroli.shtml
What really shocks me about the reissue is the revised cover graphic. It's
practically a case study in how to ruin a good design. The original cover
typeface is clean and timeless; the font(s) on the reissue make it look like
Smash Hits 1987.

Oops... Pitchfork is displaying the original cover. You can see the new one
at Wolf's page:

Sorry for any confusion my first post might have caused.

Well the original edition of Neroli I have, bought at the time it came out, in
the UK, has the same cover as the one at 'Wolf's' page; with 'Brian Eno' above
the title, all in different fonts and different size letters.

The back, however, has ' : NEROLI : ' in the same typeface as the Pitchfork
cover, with "(THINKING MUSIC PART IV)" underneath, on a blue background.

I have been a devoted listener to Eno's music for 20+ years. Album art
covers and the music within should not be a decision in the process of
choosing.

I saw the Neroli Installation in Madrid (1992?...I'm 42 and perhaps my
brains have turned to sand) and it did not need any cover art, it was just
nice to see his work that close up.

That's all I have to say.
