Even though I'm far past being a teenager, I'm happy to say that after
reading the reviews of the new album, I'm really excited about it!

Not going to listen to anything before I get it and can take in the
whole experience at once.

I only just got it. My fault for saying that it would be a good
birthday present :-)

I agree with the other thread about it being a beautiful, understated,
accessible, and crafted work, but won't add more details as I haven't
listened to it sufficiently. Must admit that I expected something
different when I saw Steve Jones on guitar. I presume that's the Sex
Pistol SJ, no? Knowing Eno it's by no means impossible that it's the
geneticist SJ :-)

While I'm not too familiar with John Cale's work, I have JC's two
electronic releases, _Hobosapien_ and _5 Tracks_. JC's albums are much
less laid back, but there's enough similarity that people who lke ADoE
who aren't already familiar with them might want to check them out.

Cheers,

Ross-c
