First of all, a very happy new year to everyone in the ng!

I've been doing one-man-band versions of beloved Eno songs, in my own
(eeecchh) style. Take, or make, a listen, & savage me with honest
opinions. I know all about the lousy sound quality, etc, etc.

Would anyone want to collaborate with me on future Eno covers?

Here's the link...sorry it's in Real format, but free space is at a
premium right now.

Anyone who does Eno covers is okay in my book.

The only critical comment I can make (apart from the lousy sound
quality, etc. etc.) is to get rid of the vocal effect that you are using
- completely unnecessary and detracts from the minimal simplicity of the
vocal line. Also, I would have brought in the rhythm guitar a lot
earlier.

Sure. What platform are you using for a DAW?

But then it would sound like ME, slidge...nobody wants that, believe
me. ;> Would you wanna try a vocal track?

Fair enough. This is still a work in progress, if anyone wants to work
on it with me (hint hint). I have a rough mix of Paw Paw I've been
working on, in a fast punk kinda style. Any interest in hearing that?

Using ACID 4.0e. I record "real" instruments with Goldwave (now
dx-plugin compat!). Have a lot of plugins, some of which are useful.

You know the scary thing about the vocal effect, btw? Doesn't it make
me sound like a (non-talented) Ronnie Spector? Scaaaary, kids. There
are 2 effects there...formant pitch shift, & pitch "correction"...hey,
garbage in, garbage out, y'know? ;>

Please contact me at my site. We might make something very, very good.

Thanks for answering & your honest critique. I look forward to hearing
from you.
